The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year — a threshold moment where darkness gives way to growing light. Across cultures and traditions, the solstice has been honored as a time to pause, reflect, release, and reconnect with what matters most. This ceremony is an invitation to slow down, soften, and meet yourself with presence as the seasons shift.
Over the course of 90 minutes, you’ll be guided through a deeply embodied journey blending:
Somatic movement to release stored tension and reconnect to your nervous system
Gentle yoga and intuitive movement to regulate breath, presence, and awareness
Self-bodywork techniques using massage balls and props to support ease
Restorative yoga to allow the body to rest deeply and unwind
A guided meditation designed to support reflection, integration, and clarity
This class is beginner-friendly, trauma-informed, and centered around slowing down rather than striving. There is no expectation to perform, keep up, or "do it right." You’ll be encouraged to move at your own pace and honor what your body needs in each moment.

2 yoga blocks- foam preferred for massage tools
2 blankets - Mexican blankets preferred

A pillow
a device with Zoom downloaded and ready to stream live
Optional additions: bolster, eye mask, journal, warm tea, essential oils, or a weighted blanket.
Wear cozy layers and prepare a space that feels sacred, peaceful, and distraction-free. A candle, soft lighting, or calming scent may help you transition inward.
