I’ve been guiding yoga and outdoor adventures across the US the past ten years. I would love to support you or your group on AMI at the beach, in the preserves, on the water, or at Salty Buddha’s beautiful and intimate Yoga Studio located on Bridge Street. Please request your service(s) below.

I look forward to connecting on the island!

Testimonials

"I am so thankful for Alyssa's presence in the area. She holds a space for you to come with your joy, your pain, your shame, and your fears with no judgement. I've had some of the most heartfelt joyful moments in her studios and some of the most powerful cries. She attracts a beautiful following of people who are seeking peace and gives us tools, suggestions and practices that nourish your body and hug your brain. I have grown in so many ways and connected with deeper parts of myself because of Alyssa's guidance."

“I have received so much through the many offerings
I have experienced from Alyssa. I’ve taken many different yoga classes, had a Reiki session, bodywork session, attended day retreats, and went on a week long retreat in Montana. ALL of Alyssa’s offerings are centered around her belief that you are your wisest healer. From each offering I’ve experienced growth, healing, and confirmation of my inner knowing. I am able to be fully present and myself - there is nothing too silly/weird/wrong that her students can do! I have had so much personal growth and leaned into “being my own experiment” (a phrase I learned from Alyssa) since I’ve started working with her it would need much more space than I could write here! I highly recommend any of her offerings - it is likely you will receive much more than what you originally were seeking.

Is your body hurting? Do you have sore areas from an old injury or a new one? Alyssa Montana’s style of healing massage finds these areas and she works with you to heal them. She works with the facia of the body, and by releasing the facia, the body brings blood and water to injured areas; which facilitates the healing of the effected areas. Doctors, Physical Therapists and Chiropractors could not help me. Alyssa’s healing facia massage her guidance towards my own healing, helped me to understand my body and how to keep my muscles well. I learned the techniques of “unwinding” and “rolling” areas that I hold my stress, and I still continued to heal myself.

“I’ve worked in person with Alyssa for over a year, and I recently had to be out of town when one of our private yoga sessions was scheduled. My inclination was to cancel. There’s no way I could possibly receive the potency of in-person work with Alyssa, right? Wrong. Our virtual session was magical. I tend to live in the analytical mind most of the time, so it’s really hard for me to even explain what happened when we had our virtual session. Our energies were able to connect in a way that defies logic. The animal medicine I’ve been receiving lately has been the eagle, and after our session ended, eagles were literally flying around her cabin in Wisconsin while I was in Colorado. The work we did was just as powerful. Our energy bodies were able to connect, despite the distance between our physical bodies. As always, the session was exactly what I needed, and was just as effective as any sessions I’ve had with her in the Nest.” - Michelle L

Lots of smiles yesterday, and a few tears as we gathered for one last outdoor yoga class with Alyssa Montana before she moves out West.

As we all settled in on our mats at the beginning of class, we could hear the water rushing over the dam, bringing a sense of calmness. All of us softly smiling as we sat facing this wonderful being that has brought so much to our community. As she started to guide us into class, I began to reflect on my own yoga journey and how I arrived here today.

Alyssa is much more than a yoga teacher.

She has provided her students with a variety of classes, learning experiences and outdoor adventures ( yoga hikes, paddle-board yoga, cycling, snowshoeing, kayaking, etc ). She also offered phenomenal Restorative yoga and Thai Bodywork, teaching us the importance of self care and healing. Some were even lucky enough to go on her Legendary Retreats.

For all of this, I am forever grateful for unforgettable experiences, lasting friendships and the challenges/ opportunities provided to keep evolving toward a better self.

Although I’m sad she is leaving us, I’m excited to see what she will take on next. I look forward to the day where I can share a class with her again, wherever in the world she may be! - Andrea K

Alyssa’s attention to detail, expertise, and her kind, fun, and empathetic nature make her an excellent choice for bodywork! I feel so much better working with her monthly. I’m more relaxed, less painful, feel more clear headed, more creative and am happy to get back to work. I love my job (I”m a dog groomer), but it’s a very physically demanding job. Thai Bodywork “lazy man’s yoga” combines massage stretches, movements and pressure points. It’s a set up from a regular massage. It’s 100% worth it! - Christine D
